This is another one of the new projects being added into the rotation. It is a cyberclass and it is designed by Luan Callery. Once again, Luan out does herself in beautiful photos, excellent instructions and stitch diagrams, and also is available through email if you have any questions. This piece is worked on a 15 x 15 piece of linen twill and tonight I mounted in on the Evertites and traced the diagram as instructed. I also started step one and worked chain stitch with two strands. Below is what I accomplished so far.
Designer has asked what are stash credits. Jane in Chilly Hollow and temarimath have started this. Each time I empty a spool, card, skein of fiber that I am using from my stash, I get one point. Each time I have to buy any fiber I will subtract a point....It is just an entertainment, but as we try to be frugal and reduce our stash before it collapses onto us, it will be a reminder to me to do so.

This is just awfully pretty, and I'll really enjoy watching, as I don't do this kind of work - admire it greatly, though. As far as stash, I have to buy multiple refills of what I use a lot for designing, such as the Kreinik 002V and 032 - but what I'm trying to do is use up a ton of stuff I don't really need, and cut way down on having so many different kinds of threads, when one or two would accomplish the same thing. How's that???
Lovely design, Pat. I am really impressed by the range of pieces you stitch, from original designs to painted canvases to embroidery and now stumpwork. You get a lot done each night also, which is great. Sometimes I feel I just collapse in a heap at the end of the day, which is not productive.
