Border and

The scotch stich border is now surrounded by tent stitches and is complete....the new band of Mosaic stitches is almost done and the row of tent stitches below it is done

The black and white outside border is done and I have started the tent stitch outline around the outside and inner border.

The outline of the size of the design.....started and should have the black and white done tomorrow and then will work on the gold outline all the way around

Some of this and that

First, I addded more beads to the bottom right to round out the egg before it finishing.

Then I pulled out this project.

and all of the threads. I will put the canvas and bars and get this started tomorrow.

There!

There! He has a eye and a finished ear. Only a bit more added to the white as I have now run out of thread and will have to go and stand by the mailbox.

Character

The bunny has a nose! Yes, I know he needs his eye.....but I worked on his ear today.

Just White

Just a lot more fur!

I finished the background, outlined the bunny, stitched the Baby Sleeping, and started working on the fur.

Second step

The horizontsal stitches are done and I am moving on to the verticals-from right to left..

More than half

I did more of the first pass of the background stitch and am more than half way down the canvas.

Starting a new one

Today, I painted out some green and yellow designs on the bunny and then marked a border to make this a rectangular design. I started the background in a Hucking stitch using Silk Lame Braid petite. Design is PA602 by Bettie Rae Designs.

White egg

I finished the white egg by adding alternating rows of crystals with the beads. This one is in the finishing pile.

And more

I turned the canvas and started adding beads to the other end. Hoping to get the rest on tomorrow!

White on White

I finished the background and have started adding white pearls in the center of each pattern.

I started another egg for the collection, So far, just white on white.

Finish 15

I have finished the pink bunny! If you look close, you can see it is on canvas that has sparkles in it.

Started this today! A pink bunny for Easter.

I added the whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles so this one is done!

A lot more

I finished addding all the pearl beads to cover the black dots, stitched the cookie and added the red beads to the top of that and then did more shadowing stitching around the outside to create a shape for finishing.

Here and there

I finished the cup in Neon Rays and started adding the pearl beads over the black dots that were randomly painted on the canvas.

Getting there!

More progress on the cup today...should be able to finish the cup tomorrow!

The cup

I started the cup using Neon Rays in alternating double brick and am skipping the black dots for now.

Adding on

I finished all of the shadow stitching around the outside, filled in the area of the cup handle, stitched the black rim in Neon Rays and then stitched the handle in horizontal brick using two colors of Neon Rays.

Next up

A mug of hot chocolate by Nicole Tamarin, NtHC14. I have started the three rows of shadow stitching around the outside.

This was the fastest of then all! All four are done and ready to be finished!

Spooky Spider is done! I finished the background and added the single web he hangs on.

I started with one stitch and then ripped that out and this is the final background stitch. I thought I would get it all in today but other things came up! Tomorrow, tomorrow.....

I finished about half of the background on Spooky Bat! This is going fast!

This is going to be a 4" round for Halloween. It is a chart from Creative Needle Arts called Spooky Bat.

Final

I took out all of the white stitches in the pinecone and added the stitches back in brown. I then added the final bow loops on top of the pinecone. This one is ready for the finisher!

The pinecone

So....first I stitched turkey work loops for the cone and frogged it. Then I tried straw silk and frogged that....this is the basketweave stitched in the colors painted on the canvas.....

The bows

All the bows on the top are stitched in place....just the pinecone left!

Berries

The berries are beaded....Sundance size 14 beads in #11 for the red and 577 for the white!

Progress!

I finished the bell by filling in the two dots and lines in black in Silk Lame Braid 205 using tent stitches on the right and reverse tent on the left to get the angle. Then I filled in around it with the Neon Rays +03. I stitched the pine branches on the top using Essentials Gazelle 769 for the branches and Holly 729, Habeanero 721 and Wreath 730 for the needles. I then moved to the left and added the snow on the leaf using Sundance beads size 14 color 421 in messy beading. Whew!

So....

I finished the brim of the hat in tent stitch continuing with Essentials Whale 513 for the dark, Barnacle 515 for the shading at the bottom and Pigeon 505 for the lightest stitches. I then started the bell....the stitch is Diamond Pavillion turned sideways and I have put in Neon Rays + 03 and 43. I will finish the bell tomorrow.

The Center

I finished the candy cane stripe! Then, moving on to the hat on the bell. I used Essentials Whale 513 and Pigeon 505 in the Kalem stitch for the main part of the hat. I will use both of those colors in tent stitch for the band on the hat.

I worked on the bottom red and white stripe....almost done....there is always tomorrow!

The pink background is done!

Greenery

The leaves are done. They are stitched with Essentials, 721, 729 and 730 in packed stem for the most part. The one on far left has some tent and long stitches as there isn't enough room to establish any pattern. The gray is Essentials 513 in horizontal Gobelin.

Everywhere

More pink background on the left under the J and then more by the bell....more on the red and white stripe on the bottom right.....finished the little leaf on the top right and started the one below it. Those are both worked in Essentials 721 and 730 in packed stem stiches.

Pink & Greens

I finished the French Knot branches and one of the leaves. The leaf is in packed stem with a few random long or short stitches using Essentials 721, 729, and 730. I also did a section of the pink background by the Y and up to the bell.
