Seasons of Winter

Both are framed in a brushed outer and shiny inner bordered frame.  I added Organza on each canvas to match the threads at the top and bottom.

Embellished!

I added the green sequins and beads in the pink background.  Green beads are added to both of the green bands and down the center of the tree trunk.  I found cute letter beads so the name is on the piece.  The A is an upside down heart.  This one is ready for framing.

All the stitching

The stitching is all done.  I filled the hearts in the white bands with Neon Rays and then the centers are Fyre Werks.  I changed the heart band row by changing the spacing of the hearts.  The hearts are splendor and the red is Neon Rays.

The background is done on the white band as are the green sunbursts.

Next

I finished the row of hearts with Neon Rays, Fyre Werks and more Silk Mori.  The second green band is more Neon Rays.  I started the background in the large bottom area in T stitch with Silk Lame Braid Petite.

On to the fun stuff

So, the swirls on the side and bottom ar done with Fyre Werks.  the top of the tree is Neon Rays and Splendor.  The diagonal rows are Neon Rays and Splendor.  Some are worked in basketweave and some are Diagonal Mosaic.  The green band is Neon Rays.

The pink background

All of the pink background is done as are the white sunbursts.  Moving on!

Just background

I am working down the left side of Seasons of Love.  Lots of basket weave going on.

Much better!

I have finished the right side with the white sunbursts and the pink background, down to the bottom.  I am leaving the pink swirls and green dots until I get all of the background done.

I changed....

The white bursts around the green dots called for a pale pink Silk Lame Braid which I had started.  When I put the silk in next to them in the background they disappeared.  I ripped them all out and replaced the pink with a white and now they show up!

Seasons of Love

I have started Seasons of Love by Danji #CH220.  It is about 3.5 x 4.5 on 18 count.  I have stitched the two outer borders--one in Splendor and one in Neon Rays.  I am working on the sunburst designs with pink Petite Silk Lame braid.
