Kick Back #2

I have set up the base stitching for the next Kick Back called Signet.  I am not following the stitching order on this one as I have a limited space to stitch and have an edge for finishing.  So I needed to do the outside edge first and it will fit!

Lots of progress

First I placed the long Very Velvet stitches around the square.  Then, I filled in the corners by laying three threads across creating a braided look.  Then the curved stitches were placed.  Lastly, Crescents are created with a single strand of Grandeur.

And Snow

I have started working the snow using Kreinik #8.
And I will be gone for a couple of days, as I am remodeling the stitching room!

It's fuzzy penguin

I used Burmilana for his fur and then Fuzzy Stuff for his scarf and fringe.  All of this was worked in Brick stitch and then brushed to get the furry effect.  I added a black bead for his eye.  Now on to the snow!
