The stitch guide for Gypsy Janie is ready!

The last ruffle!

I finished Janie by adding the ruffle to her skirt!  She is ready to head out the door and snag that bag full of candy!  I am finishing the stitch guide and she will be off to the finisher!

Final Coiffure

I added the rest of Janie's hair....a few strands here and there of some Boucle.

Ready for candy!

I finished the trick or treat bag--all in shiny fibers!  She is ready to fill that bag!

And that part is done!

 I finished the background!  Yippee, Hooray!  The bag, the ruffle, and maybe one other thing left to do!

Designing Jewelry

Today I stitched in her earrings, and all those lovely necklaces!  What fun for the gypsy gal!

Coming together

I have the background done down to the bottom and joined together!  Woohoo!

Getting there!

I finished the top little section to even out the top.  Moved down the left side and over to under her shoes.  Her shoes are done in Patent Leather!  And......her socks are done!

Two thirds

I am calling it two thirds done!  When I started the top of the background I was car stitching.  Now that I am home again, I took the time to draw in the left corner where I fill in to match the shapes of the sides.  I did this by using tracing paper.  I traced the right side, folded the paper in half, cut it out and then traced the line
for the left curve.   I will fill that bit in shortly.

Getting there

Today I worked more background down the right side.  It takes some time but must be done!

Evening things out

And I worked down the other side covering over that earring as well.

Moving along

I worked   down the right side today, and covered up her earring!  That means I have a
little something planned for them later on.

Background

Time to start on the background.  Since she is going to be a standup, I am creating a dome across the top and then will work down the sides.  As you can see, I still have the hem of her skirt and her trick or treat bag to do.

Posies and more

I added the posies and leaves to the skirt.  I moved down and did the stockings and added her shoes.  Her shading on the skirt ruffle is also done!

I have finished the background on the skirt.  Next I will fill in the flowers.  Yes, once again I covered the necklaces and will add them in later.

A fancy blouse

A cute little gypsy girl needs a fancy blouse!

I have stitched her face, neck and arms.  I covered up the necklaces around her neck and will add them back later.

Janie has a ponytail
