Jubilee is Framed!

Here is the photo of Jubilee by Leigh Designs all framed!  The mat is a white silk up next to the black mat followed by the silver frame!  I think it is stunning!  The stitch guide for the piece is now also available!  If you have the canvas you can purchase it from me, or it will come with the canvas from your shop!

More Crystals

I have added Swarovski crystals to the body suit and headdress!  She has to sparkle!

And so I beaded the hip accent as well...lots of Crystals, Magnificas!

The bracelets are all done in beads and crystals!

Dancin' Shoes from sequins and beads!  What else would they be?!

Brushed and Bordered!

All of the feathers are brushed and all four rows of border is done--all the way around!  Getting the beads next!

All of the feathers are stitched!  I am ready to start brushing them all out!

A lot more feathers

All of my stitching time was feathers!  I got a lot done but will have at least one more day on the rest of the feathers.

Big Progress

All of the skin is now done!  Yippee!  I then moved on and am working on the feathers on your right. I am getting anxious to get the bracelets and more embellishing done!

Just more leg

I finished the back leg down to her front foot!  While it may not look like much that is a lot of leg!

Right side Feathers

I have started the right side Feathers!  I made great progress today.  I also brushed out the left side feathers at the top as I wanted to see how it is going to look!

Border work

I spent all of my stitching time on borders!  The left side border is done down to the bottom and I added more to the right side as well.  Time to do more feathers!

Front leg and gray

I finished the front leg clear to her shoe and then started the gray feathers on the right.

And more feathers

I worked down the right border some more and then did all the rest of the feathers on the left side.

More leg and border

The front leg is done down to the knee!  I also worked on the the right border.....back at it!

Feathers & Legs

Lots more feathers on the left and a bit further down the leg too!

Here and there

I worked the left borders down to the knee, did more basketweave on the legs, and started the
costume feathers on the left side.  Each of these still has a ways to go, so I will work some of each are every day.

Long Legs

Jubilee has some loooonnnnng legs!  These are all going to be done in basketweave.  Pull up a chair and some wine....this may take a couple of days!

More body suit

I should probably call this the costume!  Anyway, I finished all the white stitching and have come back and added beads in the holes of the stitches.
