I finished Venus today by adding Sundance beads to all of the rest.

Mercury is done! I had some extra time so I got this one finished.

Mercury is more than half done. Today's photo doesn't accurately reflect that this is all shades of silver.

I did 8 more rows on the right side today but it stil looks like a pie.

The left side

The left side of the sun is finished!

Rounding it

Today's stitching is showing the left curve in the sun, almost to the bottom on this side.

More beads

I am continuing down the left side and put in 7 more rows of beads. I am working half at a time as the chart is printed on two pages and it is earier to work down one side versus flipping the chart over

On the left

I worked 7 rows down the left side and that is half of that side.

Taking shape

I did a lot more beads and it is starting to look like a sun.

Not much

Too many other things to do today so very little progress. I almost didn't bother to post it but a few is better than none.

Adding beads

I finished the top third with the Radiance in two colors and have started adding the five different colors of beads.

Starting in

This piece is called Wonders of the Solar System that is a Climbing Goat Designs. It is a counted canvas design that is supposed to be worked with floss. I have converted all those threads to shiny threads and beads. I have started the sun with two shades of Radiance and also one shade of beads so far.

I have a counted chart to work on a 16 x 18 canvas and I have converted all of the floss to these threads and beads.

This one is in the frame. One more left in the finishing pile.

Finishing

The Red Mittens are finished and are now in the wreath from the Wool & the Floss. This can be wardrobed later.

I added Silk Lame Braid petite silver between the rows of beads. This is done.

A Quickie

I am stitching this by request. I outlined the cross with Silver Silk Lame Braid and doing every other row, every other intersection bead.

The Bow

I finished the bow so this piece goes in the finishing pile.

The pine needles

The pine needles are done.

The second mitten

The second mitten is done and I have one of the pine branches stitched.

Stitching along

I finished the left mitten and started on the right one.

I started one stitch on the left mitten and then ripped it out and started over...using Petite Very Velvet

Bands

I tent stitched the bands with Petite Very Velvet and then started the diagonal knitting stich on the left mitten.

The Background

The background is done and is very difficult to see....a single strand of Silk Lame Braid Petite in dot stitch.

A new one

Starting on this. I have it on the bars and am pulling threads. Design is by Love You More and called Red Mittens, #EV-XBA.

I have finished all the required stitching for the finish for this piece. I am getting this ready to mail for finishing.
