Zehrina's hair is finished!

I have started her hair using 3 strands of Gloriana Silk in Charcoal in packed stem stitch. One side done.

Zehrina

Today I stitched her face, neck, arms and nails. Mostly Splendor except her nails which are Kreinik and her lips are Patina.

Next up!

Zehrina is by Leigh Designs #5136 and she is one from the series Ladies of the Night. I have previously stitched Circe from Witchy Women and Morgana from Ladies of the Night as well. Circe was stitched for Leigh and they have this one, but I have Morgana and the fam all want her. So I am stitching Zehrina to reduce the battle over the pieces amongst the girls. I may have to stitch a few more to alleviate a brawl! I am off to pull threads!

Background again

I continued on the background. Even though this is a five inch round, there is a lot of background to stitch.

Changes

First, the shape is now a round, second the background will be a very pale blue. Started the Stardust stitch for the background with Splendor and Silk Lame Braid petite for the little shiny stitches.

A new one

I am going to start this piece but first, I have to make some changes per the recipients request. Design is by JudyannNeedlepoint.

Oh! Finished

And finished. It in on an acrylic removable stand, has a hang cord, and also magnets on the back so the recipient has her choices. Design by Framyeworks.

Done

I added the white fur down the front of his coat and added some snowflakes to the background. Ready to finish.

The velvet is done on the coat, just the fur left for tomorrow.

I started the coat today!

Mittens

I started with one stitch, did not like it, reverse stitched those out and then decided this one would look good for mittens.

Belt and Cuffs

I added the cuffs on the coat and also the belt today.

Another package

I added the bow to the first package, added a holly leaf button to his hat, and then stitched the second package that has holly leaves here and there.

The tree

I finished the tree and the trunk. I stitched the first package and am trying to decide it I like the red and white bow on the first package.

Today

I added a Beard and started the tree. I need to brush the beard but wanted to get the tree started before fluffing.

Personality

I finished the hat brim, did his hair and added his moustache. He is getting personality.

Moving on

Santa has a face and I have started the turkey work for the brim of his hat

I finished the background on the left so the background is finished.

The background is done down the right side and a bit more of the left today.

I added more background and the hat today.

After a bit of decision making, I have chosen the Giant T stitch using two strands of Gloriana and one of Accentuate for the background on Santa.

Santa

I am going to do a line drawn Santa on gray canvas, which is really hard to see, but I have started pulling threads.

Then

This is a design by Lynn Payette. It starts with 18 count canvas and then silk lame is ironed on and embellishments added. It was supposed to be a pin but I turned it into a small picture instead. The design is 1.25 x 3.

The letters are all done! This one goes in the finishing pile.

Framed and Gifted

Wonders of the Solar System is framed!

And it has been gifted! My great nephew loves it!

I have started the letters and finished the flower leaves using Soie Tissie Metals.

A busy day, but I got in a few more layers.

The new project

I started a Kick Back & Stitch design called Aldebaran. The outside border is Smyrna crosses and the Waffle stitch is Neon Rays and Kreinik ribbon.

A repeat

You know I usually won't stitch anything twice, but I did repeat the cross as another gift.

I finished Uranus today! One more planet to go.....and more stars.
