Four for the Halloween Tree

The Halloween Star and Harlequin Star are by Associated Talents.  The Cat in Candy Corn and Witch Hat with Star are by ACOD.  Finishing by Cindy McKown.  Do enlarge the photo to see the little details she added to the ribbons!  

All done!

I stitched the candy corn in basketweave.  The blue on the left side is Victorian step stich--that I also used in the green on the right.  Then I added tent stitches over the white spots.  All finished in Silk Lame Braid Petite!  On to the next one.

I added the orange stripe on the left in Knotted Stitch with the Threadworx #4.  The green line is tent stitched in Silk Lame Braid Petite.  The black background is done in the candy corn row inbasketweave using Silk Lame Braid Petite.  On the right, the silver lines is Silk Lame Braid Petite in slanted Gobelins.  The purple is Silk Lame Braid Petite in Knotted Stitch.  The orange Scotch stitches are also Silk Lame Braid Petite.  

A couple of sections

I did two shades of Silk Lame Braid Petite in purples for the Smyrna Crosses down the center.  A single row of tent stitches in Threadworx overdyed #4 Kreinik for the orange stripe. Last, the green is more Silk Lame Braid Petite in Victorian Step!

Halloween Star

I am putting this one on the stretcher bars next.  Associated Talents, EE1405 is a 3 x 3 design on 18 count.  Pulling the threads!
