Funky Pumpkins 079--UPDATED

I am finishing up a custom guide for Funky Pumpkins 079 today.  I stitched and wrote the guide for Funky Pumpkins 079B just a while ago, so I have added the last two pumpkins to the guide to include the last two!

UPDATE:    So, I also finished the guide for 079A.....all three in the series now have a guide!

Tada!  All the vines are in too!  Thanks, Machelle for a great design!  So fun to stitch this one!  Stitch guide will be available with the canvas or from me!

Clear to the bottom!

Zig Zag pumpkin is all done!  On to the vines!

More than halfway!

Zig Zag pumpkin is almost done....notice the stitches go in different directions to make the shape curve?

The third pumpkin

I have started the third pumpkin which I am calling zig zags. 

The Center one

There!  The center pumpkin is done!  Moving on to the one on the left!

All of the black and

I finished all of the black lines and have started filling in the white from the top down.

More lines

I finished the white down the right side and am working the black on the left from the top down.

Progress on the lines

I am working along on the lines and have found it is easier to put the black in first and then the white.  They are hard to see but I am working on the bottom right.

The Middle Pumpkin

The middle pumpkin is started!

I have started the right side pumpkin...they are coming to life!

Funky Leaves

Pumpkin Stems

  I added stems to all the pumpkins!  This is such a fun piece!

The bottom band!

All of the background is done!  The bottom band has two colors--one for shading and then all the rest!

The center band

The center band is completed in the same stitch, but richer  color.

The top band

I have finished the top band of color!  Back to working on my needlepoint again!
