Light Candles pillow

Light Candles by Machelle Somerville is back from the finisher! Cindy made this into a velveteen box pillow with beautiful bows on the sides. Woohoo! Stitch guide by me!

Finally, the last step!

The final step was adding sequins to the center background!

And it is finished!

And, closer.....

I finished the two pine boughs in the center, beaded some more and did more white background in the center.

More leaves and part of the bottom left pine bough, beads, and background!

More beads

Added more beads and background....inching towards the finish line.

Sunday progress

Finished the pine bough on the bottom left except the two that will lay on top of the next set of green leaves.  More background is in and the beading is started on the last line.  Overall, it is getting there!

Second line finished.

The second line is finished.  I filled in more background and added the H in the third line.

Added in the beading on BOX and more background hither and yon.

Beads and a little more border

I finished beading the D, L, and E and added a little more background down the right side.

So today....

I added more beads, the round petal branch on the right side and more background.  Same stitching, different day.  I am working on all the areas to prevent getting bored with just one area.

Hither and yon!

I started beading the Light Candles line, added more background down both sides and finished another pine branch in the top right.

More branches across the top and more background done.

Across the top

I am working across the top, with the frame turned upside down though, and have the next three branches in place.  Sometimes I need to alternate from the background!

More leaves

I have added the light green leaves on the right side and the pine branch above those is also completed.

Almost

Almost across the top band of the inner background.

Progress

I had to rip a little of the background out at the top due to a counting error on my part.  I have fixed it and moved on!
