Stardust!

Stardust is all framed and the stitch guide is also now available!  Framing by Maggie at Fast Frame in Asheville, NC.

In the biz, that's a wrap!

The head dress is all finished.  More feathers, beads and sequins.  Several of you asked about attaching the feathers.  They are taken to the back, secured on the front with thread, and then tacked on the back again.  Easy, peasy!

The fans

I had to add feathers to the fans and the spokes are stitched too!

Stars and beads

I added gold beads to the edges and here and there on the feathers.  Then star sequins and more beads with those!

I forgot to post my progress yesterday!  But, today I finished the rest of the feather skirt!  Happy dancing here!  On to the bling!

And two more

I finished two more feathers and there are only five left to do!

Feather Progress

I have finished another large feather on the skirt and have started one in the center.

I finished all of the borders!  And, for fun, I beaded her shoe!

The fan and overall

 First, all of the Fan feathers are done!  And, then, here is an overall of the tunic, jewelry and feathers so far!

All 3 sets of bracelets are done!  More delica beads!

First part of the fan

I am working on the fan that she is holding in her hand.  There are two sprays to it and I have completed the right one.

She is back!

I am back working on Stardust.  I finished the border on the right down the right side.  I started the feather spray she is holding in her hand and have the top section near the skirt done.

More beading!

I worked on the bodysuit today and am down past those skinny hips and almost done with the tunic!

Top Feathers

The top feathers are all done.  I am going to do the ones on the left next....the ones on her "fan".

Just beads!

 I worked down the bodice of the costumer today.  She is really full of sparkles.  And, I am using six different colors of beads, not five!  All Delicas.

Skirt Feathers

Progress on the skirt feathers today!  Not bad for one day's session.

Beads and borders

I worked more on the beads and then more down the right side of the border.  There are five colors of beads on the tunic so it keeps me on my toe4s!

All over the place

I beaded the body suit straps to finish up the thread in the needle and then decided to do just a few more!  The right side border is done down past the hand on the right.  The feather on the right is done and I have started the one in the center of her suit.

And onto the beads

I beaded the cap of the head dress.  It is all delica beads!

Enough slacking!

LOL, time to get serious about getting some stitching done!  All the holiday is packed away!  Winter is setting in here in Michigan and today brought snow and rain so far with more snow predicted for the next several days!  Say goodbye to seeing the lawn.  I finished the feathers on the headdress and have brought the outside border down past the chin on the right side.
