White Camellia framed

I picked this one up from the framer!  A cut out black linen mat with a filet next to it.  A white linen mat on top of that with a gold/silver filet net to the floral frame.

It is done!

I did it!  I finished all of the black all the way around!  This one is going to be shipped to the framer!

The light at the end

I can see the light!  Made great progress on the black!  One more stitching session and this will be done!

A few more

A few more stitches equals a few more inches around!

Inching along

Back to a few more inches of black around the posy!  After the design going so fast, it is difficult to see how slow the basket weave goes!

I am at just about half way around with the additional black!

Working the black

After a few emails and phone calls, we have decided to work black around the Camellia before framing it.
The mat can be cut as a round and will make my framer's life much easier.  It will still be stunning and I like the way it is already making the flower "pop"!

I did a closeup of the padded center that is covered with Fuzzy Stuff because of the stunning beads!

The last petal!

There it is!  The very last petal done with some Impressions, beads and Silk Lame....next and final step is the center of the flower!

Almost!

I finished the far right petal with Silk Lame braid, Panache, Elegance and more beads!  Only two areas left!
I have enough of all most all of the supplies left for another one....anyone have this in their stash?

This front and center petal has Impressions, Elegance and 2 different beads.

Starting the bottom petals

The far left petal has Impressions, Panache and two beads--a size 8 and a twisted bugle!

Another large petal

This one is larger than most of the others but the pattern went fairly quickly using Impressions, Flair, Kreinik and yet another kind of beads!

Around the petal turn

I added Frosty Rays and more beads--pale yellow around the turn of the petal.  Just a few more to go!

Overall and

Here is an overall of the progress and I have stitched the "turn" on two petals.

Another outside one

This one has lots of hex beads, some Impressions and some perle.  I am half done already!

Petal nine

This one has some Flair, perle, Sundance beads, and square crystals!  These are going so fast....Jane had asked the size of the canvas and it is an 11.5 square.  I bought mine along with guide and kit from Aristeia in California.

More shine!

The next petal has more shine with some Snow, Flair and another style of beads!

One in the center

The center petal has two different fibers and a lot of beads!  This piece is going pretty fast!

Petal 4

Petal 5 is all done....some Panache, silk, square crystals and pearls!
