Yup, finished the left side down to the bottom. I am so pleased to get that far.....tomorrow it is back over to the right side. Even though I am not sure if this will be framed as a square or oval, stitching all this much background gives my framer the option to do which ever looks best with the other two cardinals.

Great progress! I'm stitching background, too, and trying to keep up with you. You'll be back doing the pretty red bird before you know it.
