Doing the dress

I stitched the left side of Wild Woman's dress tonight.  I am doing the Medieval Mosaic stitch using Painter's Thread color 122 Marianne.  This is ribbon floss Shimmer which is overdyed and then has a stand of blending filament woven in.  Both the overdyed and shimmer are a great look for her!  I wanted some glitz but less of a pattern than the designer painted due to the other interest points in the piece.

p.s. got mine at Peacock Alley!

The dress looks great! I'm glad you like the Painter Threads overdyed version of Shimmer Floss. I have some here but no project that's just right for it yet. Oh, well.....

I like your dress pattern better than the original. By the way, Peacock Alley has gotten High Cotton in. Got a message from them yesterday! They have 84 colors I think. I told them my personal shopper (that's you) would be checking them all out....

It works up beautifully with a laying tool, and I guess I will have to make another trip to the Peacock!
