| Wild Woman's glasses need to be a bit prominent as they are forward in the canvas and maybe sliding down her nose a bit. I took DMC Memory Wire and outlined the shape of them to start. |

Then, using four strands of Splendor, I laid satin stitches over the top of the wire. I could have achieved this result by double padding the shape but the wire works great! The I took Frosty Rays and laid in the highlights on her glasses. I was asked the size of this canvas and am not sure I ever told you but she is 10 inches wide and 8 inches high. This is going on a Lee purse as the insert when I get it done, and yes, it is for me! LOL |
