Fran's Angel update
Today I put in the hands and sleeve. Then I started the wings. They are worked with one strand of silk, Kreinik gold and iridescent blending filament. Needless to say those three threads in a needle are slippery than what? I finished the right one....learned two new swear words, and then got most of the left one done...only one more new swear word.....that was it for tonight!

Poor Pat! I have a Pace needle that came in the mail yesterday that is supposed to help with multiple strands of slippery threads, particularly metallics. I have not tried it yet, though. Basically it is a flat needle that opens up to put your threads through. It might help. I got mine from Alex Paras Needle Arts when I ordered a tiny gold magnet and the skein of thread I need for my current project.
