I finished the bottom right ribbon loop tonight using a single strand of the Marlitt. Sharon G has suggested a double cross background in one of the shiny threads. So I checked my books andfound the stitch. I doodled it using a single strand of Accentuate but that is so fine it does not show up, so I will try that again later with one of the other fibers I have to use in this piece.

Try Kreinik #4 braid if you have it - it's great, as it's a little bit fatter than the Accentuate, and is stronger.
You can double the Accentuate as well. I think #4 Kreinik might be too heavy a look but it all depends on the effect you are going for. Of course I consider #8 Kreinik often too heavy for 18 count canvas and most folks think it is the perfect size for 18 count....

I was thinking I would double the Accentuate, but I can try both and see what I like..
