Out of rotation

Sometimes at the end of a long week, my brain goes into idle. Ever have that happen to you? So, I pulled out this piece and knew I could handle background stitching and would not have to make any decisions. I almost finished the left side tonight! You can see on the right side that I don't have that much of that side left to do either. DH thinks I should just finish this one and maybe I will just keep on going and see what happens.

Sometimes mindless stitching is just what the doctor ordered.

I love the contrast between the regular background and the more random stitches on the roses, by the way.

Lovely piece and great stitching job, Pat.

I'd keep stitching on it if at all possible; sometimes it just comes time to get it done and move on to freely begin the next adventure. I just love the turquoise border.
