More ribbon

The top right streamer is done down to where I will add the rose back in using the pinks. I also added a little bit of silver on the top left ribbon to see how it will look!

Hi Pat,

You've been making great progress!

I'm not too sure about the silver as it's displaying as gray. Does it look good in person?

Are you stitching over the water droplets?

Thanks for all of your comments. Yes, the weather has been nuts up here! But we are staying safe, warm and dry and that's all that matters. :-)

You are making good progress, Pat. The ribbon looks great. I had forgotten the water droplets. Do you know SharonG's trick with beads and pearls? Use Flair in a pale color in your needle and come up at the top of the bead area, stuff the bead inside, and attach to the canvas by stitching the Flair back down. SharonG says the bead looks like it is floating on top of the canvas. You will need to experiment a bit in case you want to try this to get the right bead/Flair combo.

Yes, I am stitching over the water drops and am thinking of adding crystals later....although I like Sharon's idea....thanks, Jane!

Gail Hendrix attaches beads and pearls with fishing line, and it's quite invisible and very effective. OR - what about a clear bead attached where the water droplet is?
