A different angle

I shot this again trying to get the true color of the mat. This is actually a lot closer to what it is. You will notice I put silver lame behind the fireworks canvas. As you walk by this, it actually has movement to it. When I am in Michigan next week, I am going to shoot another piece I did a long time ago and show you yet another one that has movement.

I bet this is spectacular in person. I love lame behind pieces like this. Everything sparkles, which is what fireworks should do. Thanks for trying to get a better photo for us. Judy and I promise to take lots of photos of any piece you send us for you to post.

See, Judy, I'm still trying to wrangle Fireworks out of Pat. Sadly I think this one is going to her sister. Not fair!

LOL

Thanks for the photograph. I bet it is wonderful in person.

Well for sure she isn't very generous with her internet buddies and most avid fans (when we're trying to wangle something out of her). I wanted that iris. This is just spectacular!!

Hey you guys! Yes, the fireworks was stitched by request for my baby sister! The Diamond Iris is one of the few I have kept for myself this year.....so I will go and look for your addresses and then decided what I will have to send you! LOL

Hi Pat,

Looks gorgeous!

And it really does look like fireworks!

Please let us know what the recepient thinks though we already know that they will love it. If not bring it home and you can hold a drawing for your frequent commenters! :-)
