It is finished!

The Bat on the Cat is finished!  I used Wisper and brushed the cat.  The collar is Kreinik and his tag is beaded.  I also added the gold beads in the sky.  Ready for the finishing pile!

 

Just the body

I finished the body with the Wisper but haven't brushed him yet.  Still have to do the tail, collar, and tag.

 

A bat, a pumpkin and a start of a cat

I beaded the pumpkin and used Straw silk for the stem.  I followed Jane's instructions and worked the Bat....he is pretty amazing!  Then I moved on to the cat.  I am changing him.  I have used basketweave and Wisper for the black and grey areas, Kreinik #4 overdyed Threadworx for the whispers and Kreinik #4 for the eyes.

Almost there!

The room is all painted!  It is so much brighter in here!  I made progress on the background too!

 

No stitching

 I am painting my stitching a lighter color and have had hubby install a new LED overhead light!  I will soon be able to pull threads without having to run out to the sun porch to make sure they match!  When all of this mess--everything in the middle of the room--is back I will be able to get back to stitching!  Then in a few weeks, I will be having new carpet installed as well!  Back to trying to work  at the desk!

This is a popular design by Jude that I stitched with a lot of glow in the dark threads.  The pillow is also backed with a  glow in the dark Halloween fabric.
