Working along

I have worked all four borders down to the arm on the left.  I then moved up and added a lot more feathers!

Feathers

Time to start on some feathers!  Three different shades of thread to work them.  I am leaving all the stars and sprays til later.

Oh, Wow!

Santa and friends were very kind this year!  Stumpwork Butterflies & Moths by Jane Nicholas, Stitches a' la Carte by Lynda Richardson, Stitches, Volume Three by Ruth Schmuff, a Sudberry box with a stitched design along with a coaster, and finally a Puffin and Company Magnet.  A gift certificate for supplies was also included.  Who knew I was this good all year?

Just the leg

I finished the leg today.  Stitching at this time of year is sporadic at best!  I thought I had everything all done and ready to go, but there are always last minute things that pop up!  I am starting the feathers next and hope to get some time yet this week to do some stitching!

Getting there

I finished the right arm, started down the leg and put in more of the left side border.....feathers will be coming soon!

And more

  More basketweave so the arm on your left is stitched, and the one on the right is started.  I also worked on borders down the left side today.
