Mistake

I am ripping on Mariposa as I was off by one thread and the pattern did not line up when I got all the way around......sigh

First Scarf

 

I am "knitting" the first scarf using Impressions and the Kalem stitch.

I started the sky with a diagonal Mosaic stitch using Kreinik.  The headband for the ear muffs is worked in Neon Rays using basket weave. 

The right wing

I have started the outline of the right wing.  I am using three strands of Gloriana silk and working Smyrna crosses to outline the entire wing.

Mariposa



This is Mariposa by Threedles and the canvas is called Caribbean Waters.  It is a custom painted canvas from www.naturespallette.com.  It is 18 inches square.

These are the threads that I have to stitch with.  I need to get the beads yet, but am going to order those.  I pulled all of this together today and will be getting started tomorrow on actual stitching!

Gimmies

This is a canvas by Gimmies that I have put on the stretcher bars and am pulling threads for.  It is a 3.5 x 10.5 design and I plan on working on this along with Mariposa until another reveal pops up in a few days. 

A spider

Beth said we needed a spider and Jane Wood provided a quick way to do one!  A bicone bead for his body, another bead for his head!  Cute!  This is done and I think she is one great looking witch!  Thanks to Leigh Designs for permission to blog stitch this piece.
