Another decision

I have decided to have this one finished as a boxed standup....so lightly painted the black to create a size and am doing Nobuko stitch to fill it.

Framed!

Gateway to Paradise by Leigh Designs is framed! It is a light gold with black mats. It is on the way to a new home!

The stem

Today I added the stem to the pumpkin!

A lot

Finished beading the witches, stitched the cat and also the clouds.

Almost there

I forgot to post yesterday! I worked on more beads today too and the witch on the left is done and the one on the right is almost!

The Witches

I have started beading the witches!

Today

I stitched the moon with Kreinik in an open and tent stitch pattern and then did chain stitch for the tree in black overdyed Threadworx.

Grass

All of the grass is stitched with Petite Silk Lame Braid. Deciding what area to do next.

Pumpkin progress

I stitched on the pumpkin more today!

Sister Witches with a cat

I started Sister Witches with a cat by KCN. I am using Silk Lame Braid Petite in Woven stitch.

Fini!

I added the beads around the outside. This one will wait until the Are you a good witch comes in.

Background

I finished the background and added the letters in Petite Very Velvet.

Almost there

Lot more background today with the Threadworx overdyed Kreinik. Will finish the background tomorrow!

About half

I aworked more raindrop stitch and almost half done with the background.

Next up, or A Bad Witch is by Ginghan Stitchery, HW124 is on the bars and I am pulling threads.

Gateway to Paradise

Gateway to Paradise is finished!This is an 8 x 14 design on 18 by Leigh Designs. The shine is amazing!

Finishing

Finished another box. This is a Loretta Spears design that I stitched a while ago and have finally got it seated into a box.

The Final Bead!

The beading is done! I finished the final eye in the feather and then beaded the tassel. Tomorrow will be the rest of the feather!

Almost there

I worked on the third and final peacock eye beading and it will be done tomorrow.

Finishing

Tiny Angel by Freda's Fancy Stitching is finished. The frame was originally gold but I wanted to back the piece with silver so I painted the frame before I did the framing.

Another eye

I finished another eye and started the third one!

Then more

I stitched the padded blue bar with Silk Lame Braid and then started the eye of another feather.

One Eye

I added more feather lines and then finished beading the first eye in the feather.

Again with the beads

I added a few more feathers on the left and then started beading one of the eyes of the feather.

More of the same

I finished the black beads on the white medallion and then added a lot more to the feather.

And so

and so, I did the white medallion in tent stitch with Neon Rays, added the gold beads and white line above, and... started the black beads too!

Feathers

I continued on the feathers and will be for the next few days.

Ribbon

I added the ribbon at the top to create the flowers and leaves. I then added a bit more of the feathers in the middle.

The Background

The background is finally done!

Tomorrow

I tried to finish all the black background today and did not quite make it.

Moving on

I worked on a lot of black today and am trying to fill in the center of the feathers. Then, I couched more of the feather on the left side.

Starting feathers

I have started the feathers and am couching #8 Kreinik on the lines with #4 Kreinik to follow all the lines and curves.

More beads

I finished the beads on this section of the tail and then worked more of the black background behind the feathers.

Starting Feathers

Started the train of feathers on the peacock. And, worked more black in the center.

Two pictures

I completed the bird's body and then worked on the black skip tent background.

Finally!

I finished all blue beads in this section and then moved down to the left and did more of the black skip tent stitches--which don't show up in this photo.

Getting there

I worked on all the blue beads and the end is in sight for those!

Another section

I finished the left section down to the level of the others and stitched a few more rows of the black background.

The center

I did a bit more on the right panel of beads and then worked the center down to the same level.

An inch?

Just more beading and it looks like about another inch!

And today

I worked on more beads! Slow going but progress nonetheless.

And more beads

I worked on all beads today and have added the third color as I work down the canvas.

More beads

First a did a few more rows of black skip tent on the left and then moved to do more beads. The beading is going to take a while!

Back to the Peacock

My Kreinik arrived and I did a few more rows on the left side and then I switched to beading the neck for a while.

Finished!

Candy Cane with bow is finished! I completed the bow today for finish number 6 this year.
