Done with the hat

This box is done as I finishd the hat with 3 shades of Petite Very Velvet in Nobuko stitch-627, 628, 635. Then I tent stitched the hat band in Fyre Werks 69 and 84. The buttons on each side of the buckle are Smyrna cross stitches.

Row 4 Box 3

The background on this box is vertical Parisian with Radiance 13 in Happy Day. Tomorrow the hat!

And then

So I am tent stitching the background with Radiance 13 Wasabi and angling the stitches to follow the web sections. However, I ran out of thread! I will get it on order!

Box 1 in row 4

I stitched the broom in long stitches using Silk Straw Malt Liquor and this box is done. The handle is done in two colors of Trebizond.

Row 4 Box 1

The background is done on Row 4 Box 1. I used Silk Lame Braid 21 & 22 for the three row brick stitch pattern.

Row 3

Row 3 is finished as I completed the basketweave orange background and then added beads for the teeth.

Starting another box

I ave started Box 1 in row 3. I am doing all basketweave on this square. The darker lines are Silk Lame Braid 176, the eyes are Neon Rays+ 303, and the background is Silk Lame Braid 191.

I finished the candy corn square.

Not quite

Candy corn: All the dark orange is done as is the white but I still have 2 of the middle sections to finish.

Row 3, box 2

I did the background of this box in Slanted Gobelin stitch using Nen Rays + 09. Then I started the candy corn and am using Radiance 13 in Happy Day, Pearl and Cutie for the tent stitches.

Row 3, box 3

The cauldron box....I stitched the grass at the bottom in Woven stitch with Silk Lame Braid 72. The background is horizontal brick with Silk Lame Braid 22. The utensil sticking out at the top is tent stiched with SLB 01. The rim of the pot is vertical long stitches in Threadworx 12, 911221 and I have started the Cauldron in Silk Lame Braid 65 in a bargello pattern over 2.

This one is done

Row 3, box 4 is done. I finished by stitching the boots with Petite Very Velvet 626 in oblong cross stitch and then the black are long stitches with Petite Very Velvet601. The buckles and buttons are Radiance 13 in Happy Days.

Row 3, box 4

I started box 4 in row three and stitched the background with Radiance Wasabi. Then the socks are done in Kalem stitch with Silk Lame Braid 01 and Sprinkles 05.

Wrapped Mummy

The dark spots are tent stitched with Gloriana in Charcoal. The eyes are tent stitched with Neon Rays + 01 and 119 for the red and black. Then the rest is Petite Sparkle Rays 303 glow in the dark. The teeth are done in Silk Lame Braid 22, 25 and Neon Rays +300 glow in the dark. Then the rest of the mummy is wrapped in 7 mm River Silks 266.

Spider box

The spider box is done. I finished the spider by tent stitching the head and red lines on the body with Silk Lame Braid 79. Then I used 3 strands of Wisper 128 to brick stitch the body. I added Mill Hill size 11 black beads for the eyes.

A Spider

I started the spider in box 1, row 2. The background is skip tent in Radiance 13 Wasabi. The spider is stitched with two strands of Wisper 111, 99 and 101 so far in double brick stitches.

Another one done

Row 2, box three is done. I finished the eyball. The iris is tent stitched with Silk Lame Braid 01 and the highlight is Silk Lame Braid 300. The iris is also tent stitched with Silk Lame Braid 69 and 69. The blood shot lines are Essentials Pucker up 646 in tent stitches. The blood drops around the outside are The Collection drop beads in Ruby.

More on box 3, row 2

More on the eye today....I finished the two different reds and then all of the white and pink center.

Row 2, Box 3

Row 2, Box 3 is the bloddy eyeball. The background is Nobuko in Fyre Werks 70. The 2 reds around it are Silk Lame Braid 79 and 135 in tent stitches. The white and pink of the eye are Silk Lame Braid 24 & 81 in alternating Mosaic.

Skull is done!

The Skull is done! A lot of beads but he needed them!

I am more than half way done with beading the skull.

The next box

I have started box 4 in row 2. The dark areas of the skull are skip tent in Silk Lame Braid 165. Then I am brick beading the rest of skull using matte white and lavender size 11 beads. This is going to take a while but it will be a great skull.

Row 1, Box 1

I finished the eyes and mouth in tent stitches with the yellow and black Fyre Werks. Then I did a wrapped stem stitch with Fyre Werks 34. Just need to add the leaves.

Row 1, Box 1

The last box in this row is started! The corners are tent stitched in Neon Rays +43. The orange background is Hungarian stitches in Neon Rays + Glow in the Dark 304. I started the black outlines in Fyre Werks 31 and the yellow is Fyre Werks 84--all in basketweave.

Row 1, Box 2 done

I finished the modified escalator stitch on the bottle. I added Sundance gold shimmer sequins anchored with a Sundance size 14 bead in color 318J for the bubbles in the bottle.

Row 1, Square 2

This box has a background stitched in Petite Sparkle Rays 51 in Parisian ribbon stitch. The cork is tent stitched with two colors of straw silk.I have started the bottle using Neon Rays 33,84 and 90 in a modified escalator stitch.

Second box

The second box is done. I tent stitched the back of the snake and then did reverse tent for his underbelly. All Neonn Rays + and some are glow in the dark.

Back on track

I removed all the stitches from yesterday. The head is tent stitched with Neon Rays + 144 and 300 glow in the dark. I added Freakin Green beads and then wrapped the long stithes on the tongue with more Neon Ray+ 119.

Startiing box 3

I finished box 4 in row 1 by adding glow in the dark beads in eerie gray. Next I filled in the background of box 3 with horizontal double brick stitch using Neon Rays + 83. The mouth is tent stitched with Neon Rays ++ 74 and 80. The mouth is padded satin stitches and long stitches in Neon Rays 119.

I am working on the background with Neon Rays + in Woven Stitch and added a photo of how he glows in the dark.

This came today in UPS. All finished! Yay!

Getting started

I have organized the thread pile and started on Row 1, box 4--the ghost. He is outlined with Neon Rays + 304 and filling him in with Diagonal Cashmere with Neon Rays +300. His eyes are eyelet stitches in the same orange.

Halloween Squares

Halloween Squares by Blueberry Point, 24-378, is going on the bars today! It is a 10 inch square design on 16 count. I have pulled the threads I think I will need! Whew!

Boooo! is finished. I added glow in the dark beads too. One photo is showing some of the hints of green but it needs to be darker for the full effect!

I finished the second ghost....only one thing left to do...but I ran out of time today.
