Black

The sun is out so I did another area of black and a bit more of another petal.

The center

I finished the center and another petal on the outside right.

More petal

I am adding the petal on the right of center. These are all big flowers but I see progress!

I got quite a bit done on the center of flower five today.

I have started flower five....love the colors in this one too!

The bottom

The bottom right corner of black and green are done.

The fourth flower is done! 2/3 of the canvas is stitched!

Got a lot done on the center and third petal, it is slow but progress.

A few more

A few more inches on the lower right to finish this petal.

One petal

I finished the back petal on the fourth flower and worked more down the side of the outside petal.

Bottom

Started the fourth flower that is on the bottom right and filled in the black next to it.

The top half

The third flower, all the black and green in the top left and this is now half done.

The last petal

I finished the last petal on poppy 3, filled in the small black triangle and the green stem.....just more black to finish the top!

Progress: I did more of the black across the top and also the green on the pink poppy.

I started the third poppy and then also did some black and green next to it. Slow and steady.

I picked up some finishing! Underestimate me by Patricia Sone is finished flat for the acrylic tray. Canvas, threads, tray and finishing by Peacock Alley Needlepoint.

The yellow poppy is done and I have started the pink!

I finished another petal....just a couple more to go!

Down the side

Today I worked down the right side and got quite a bit done.

Across the top

So the petals across the top are done as is the rust color in the center.

I added some to the yellow flowers. Basketweave is slow and strand six ply of thread takes a lot of time!

Just black

Starting in the top right corner, I worked black for the background. This is going to be a slow project as it will be worked entirely in basketweave using six strands of Splendor or DMC floss.

So, I painted out the white background and made it black. Makes the poppies "pop".

Black polka dot pumpkin

The black polka dot pumpkin is done! Love the white glow in the dark dots!

Another finish

The black pumpkin is finished. The white dots are done with glow in the dark thread. I am self finishing this one, so I should get it done in the mornibg.

A few more dots and it is starting to look more like a pumpkin.

Finished!

I have completed the finishing on this one. Front and back and ready to go in the 4 inch round acrylic coaster.

i finished the stems and the last patch of pumpkin. i will post better photos tomorrow.

The cat is done!

I have finished the cat using fuzzy stuff and added memory wire for his whiskers
