The last finish for 2019

This is the last finished piece for 2019!  I actually finished 19 pieces this year!  I am amazed.  It has been a crazy year in so many ways!  I don't plan on trying to finish 20 pieces for next year but I know that is what some people will try to do.  I stitch for various family members, some friends and some for me.  So, while there are some things on the worktable ready to start, I hope that the new year brings some fun surprises in many ways for us all!  Happy New Year to one and all!

Witch Hat Star is done

I stitched the hat in Petite Very Velvet using basketweave.  I did the purple in Kreinik #16.  Then I added the Sundance BoHo green parakeet beads and the the little red ones.  Last I added the candy corn buttons from Just Buttons.

All done!

I stitched the candy corn in basketweave.  The blue on the left side is Victorian step stich--that I also used in the green on the right.  Then I added tent stitches over the white spots.  All finished in Silk Lame Braid Petite!  On to the next one.
