I had to rip a little of the background out at the top due to a counting error on my part. I have fixed it and moved on!

Meet an amazing artist!
While in Florida last month, I met Donna Sheerin Gillis! What an amazing fiber artist! While this blog is usually all about needlepoint, I wanted to share this with you. Donna makes quilts for families who give her the clothing from loved ones who have passed away. She creates awesome pieces for the surviving family members. We spent some time talking and sharing our art with each other as well as photos. I hope you take some time to read her blog and see some of what she shared with me. I also hope to see her again some day! A truly inspiring fiber artist!

First Ornament finish
I have finished the first ornament for this year. Ornament design by Danae, 251-BA. I stitched the red areas in Silk Lame Braid Petite. The stars, moon and cap gold are also Silk Lame Braid Petite in gold. I then added gold beads for the dots on the painted canvas. All stitches are Nobuko.
