First Ornament
I completed the first ornament on the design! Stitching time is very limited and I apologize for not being able to post more right now. I am trying to get more done, but hope you have patience to wait and see!
I’m working on Visions of sugarplums by Jean Hilton. I’m having problems getting my head around the wide diagonal band. I have the pearl cotton going the way of the diagram on page 7, very bottom left corner. Now to put the marlitt do I do it in the opposite holes going the same diagonal or on top of the pearl cotton. For some reason itseluding me. Thank you. Denise
Denise7I went back through my posts and found these comments about page 7. The triangles are tri-layered. Perle 5 was stitched diagonally across each one. Then Marlitt was stitched over the top of those from the other angle to create padding. Finally Sprat's Heads were worked in a single ply of DMC Fil over the top of those
