Jingle Bells, part 2

I have fixed the error and am moving on.  The bells are stitched in Kreinik.  The rest is Entice.  

And so...

I have been stitching away on the box top....and just found a mistake!  I will be ripping and fixing and post progress, when there is some!  It happens on counted work.

The third and fourth line

I have finished both of the bottom lines.  The Just Kidding is a padded Satin stitch and the fourth line is tent stitches again.  The red Silk Lame is sparklier than the photo shows.  Next I  need to get started on the Bitch row.

Jingle Bells

I am going to start Jingle Bells as the 4 x 4 box top next.

Of course I am changing all the colors.  The bells are done in gold not silver.

All the edge is finished and the little Jessicas are in place in the center! 

What shall I work on next????

The first full line

I have stitched all of the lettering in the first line in tent stitches in red Silk Lame Braid.  I have plans the Bitch letters but the top and bottom line will be tent as they are so thin.  The 3rd row is also going to be a different stitch.

Almost There

While it may not look like it, there is a lot of basketweave here!  I am almost done though and then just a bit to fill in on the center.

Filling In

I am filling in the inner border with a dark purple-not black-Silk Lame and it all basketweave.  This might take a minute!

Frosty Progress

Quite a bit more done on Frosty.  Just a little more to go and this one will be ready!

Outside Border

I have completed the outside border and started working on more of the center designs.

The next round

I added the next round with lavender Silk Lame Braid!

The final rows

All of the background darning pattern is done!  Time to move on to the lettering!  Think bling!

Jane has all of her background done too!  She added a set of lips too!  Cute! 

Next up.

Next up is Frosty the Snowman from Christmas Ornaments, Part II, by Jean Hilton.  I am doing the design to fit a box top and also have changed the colors.  This is going to be lavenders and purple, with the center silver.  Below is the photo of the original project in the book.

Shimmer Silks

I did a few more rows around the edge of this design.  I have decided that I am not going to add anymore of the pattern rows.  There are 8 more rows called for in the chart but I don't want the piece that big.  I want to turn this into a pillow and it is already 6 25 inches square.  I will see how I want this finished next and show the final piece when I get it done.

Magnolia Finish!

Wednesday progress!

I am past all of the lettering and so no more compensating!  Woohoo!  I should get to the bottom by next week and then start on the lettering!  Check out Jane's piece as she is auditioning beads!

Two more leaves

The side leaves under the left flower are done!  Two more to go!

The top leaves

I added the top two green leaves today.  All I had time to get done.  More tomorrow!

Rusty Leaves

I have finished the 3 rusty leaves and of course I added more bling!
