First I worked on the left side and finish down through the bottom and started under the moon. I then moved up to the top on the right. This is where I realized I am going to run out of thread again! Crap! So, I set it down and finished the buttonhole stitch around the red skull and crossbones. This then is ready for the felt backing and the final sew it together!

Well darn. I have a bunch of the navy Kreinik - but I use the #12 braid or the 1/16" ribbon.
I know....just another trip to the LNS....calling to see if they have one.
I hate it when that happens! I'm busily doing three passes in a tent stitch for my gold edging of a ribbon on the Rabbit Geisha. Tripling my #4 Kreinik braid to mimic the #12 I ran out of is a real pain.
Going through the hole three times per tent stitch is also a pain but it looks better.
The things we do!
The blue sky is beautiful, however. Well worth the trouble.
