The grass is done!

I finished the grass!

Not quite

I thought I would get more of this done....i.e., finished but that grass seems to be growing!

Grass in the center

Completed more grass in the bottom center.....getting there!

More grass

I worked on the grass in the center and some of the yellow boxes on the bottom band.

A few leaves

I completed three of the leaves-one in the corner and two in the sky-using straw silk. Lots of color changes, but fun!

More grass, about 1/3 done!

Just more grass

I worked more on the right corner of grass and also added in more of the white along the top and in the middle.

Grass

I have started working in the bottom right corner.....some of the black curliques, white fence lines, and some of the grass.

Moving on

I finished the right border and have also stitched the moon. I outlined it in navy and then filled it in with Fyre Werks.

Starting the right border

I started on the right checkered border but did not finish it. I am about half way down with both colors, and all of the yellow all the way down. Progress is progress.

The left border

I finished the black and gold squares and then the orange line inner border to complete the left border today.

The sky is done!

Woohoo! I finished the sky!

Down the middle

Lots more down the middle! The end is in sight for the sky!

Down the right side

I am working on the blue again and completed down the right side.

I picked up finishing today! The M & M's are done. Finishing by Peacock Alley Needlepoint. Fabric from Etsy. It is ready to gift!

More blue

Back to working on the blue and a few more rows are done

Left border

I was tired of blue so I worked half way down the left border with the black and yellow blocks.

Down the side

I started working the sky down the side by the moon, just to break up the back and forth.

Progress

Across the top is now down to some of the leaves and a lot more down the side.

Across and down

Completed more rows across compensating around the moon.

Just more across the top and then a lot down the side.

I added more sky and am doing both across and down the right side.

More

Added more rows in the sky and then more squares down the left side. My plan is to continue working on both areas down the canvas.

The Sky

I chose a stitch for the sky and have completed two full rows and the top compensation row.

The top border

I finished the squares and then the orange row to complete the top border.

Here and there

I did more of the black and yellow boxes, stiched more of the next orange row below those, and started some of the sky.
