The Quill is now finished as is more background!

Close barbs

The black area around the eye of the feather is called close barbs as they are not the single ones out towards the edges.  I have been working on the background too.

Background and borders

I have started the background and down the side borders.

I finished all of the boxes across the top!

I am more than half way across the boxes and have added in more background too.

I completed one full set and am moving on!  This is very shiny in person!

Two Birches

This is the third canvas in the Triptych series from Summer in the Park by Carla Banks and adapted by Leigh Designs.  This one is a combination of several of the elements in the other two and I am finishing up writing the guide for it as well.

The Center Flower

The big blue flower is in the center of the canvas.

And these will be the leaves.  I am finishing the guide for this one too!

Gold Stalks

This one has several gold stalks and some gorgeous flowers.  This one is almost done.

River's Edge

River's Edge is the second canvas in the Triptych series by Carla Bank adapted by Leigh Designs.  I am writing the guide for this one as well and will show you the elements that I am doing different from The Birch.  It too is a 10 x 10 canvas.

This is a very bright and cheerful park scene!  All done and I am finishing up the stitch guide too!

Added a river

Of course there is a river running through the park!

Now there are blue, green and purple stalks.  Some have beads or pearls but not all.

All of the grass is finished.  Time to move onto all the wonderful posies and tree!
