I started the first side area. Four Sprat's Head fill the upper corner with 1/16 ribbon. Then, Impressions is used to create a rectangle of double straight crosses. A square is stitched over the top of the double crosses with Bijoux. Continuous Scotch stitches are worked inside the rectangle with #5 Perle and then #4 Kreinik is crossed over those. Working on page 9!

This is a lot more steps than I realized. It's quite pretty, though. Very feminine design. But nine pages...!
She has great directions! Lots more to go! I am not daunted by the number of pages at all. Each step contains what thread and there are diagrams as well. Easy to read and follow.
Easy to read and follow IF YOU CAN COUNT TO TEN! Which I apparently cannot. Sigh.
