Another one finished

Freda's Fancies Subtlety in Blue-changed to black- is now in a Sudberry box and ready to gift.

Day 13-The Finish

I finished adding all the beads today! One is a photo of the entire design which is a six inch square. The other is a closeup so you can see the beads and the shiny Kreinik. This is Freda's Fancies, Subtlety in Blue, with colors changed to the black and grays.

Day Twelve

I finished outlining with the black Kreinik and have started adding the beads.

Day Eleven

I have finished all the Walnettos in the corners and have started adding backstitches in Kreinik around the squares.

Day Ten

The woven triangles are done as are two of the four Walnetto stitches in the corners.

Day Nine

All of the gray inner rice stitches are done that create the squares in the corners. Then I stitched long lines of Kreinik in the triangles and am weaving black over the top of those.

Day Eight

I finished the rest of the gray inner border and added two quadrants on the left side.

Day Seven

I finished the oustide border of rice stitches in black and am now working on the inner border of the same stitch in gray.

Day Six

A lot more rice stitches to create the outside border.

Day Five

I added another line of gray border and then started more rice stitches for the outside of the design.

Day Four

I finished the gray satin stitch border and then completed a round of Rhodes diamonds.

Day Three

More Sprat's heads all the way around and then the first border is done and the second border is started.

Day two

Completed more black Rice stitches around the first gray ones and then I completed a triangular Spratt's head under that in a varigated thread.

Another new project

I have started a new project! Freda's Fancies, Subtlety in Blue which I am changing to gray and black.

Celebrating Stitches

This is the center of Celebrating Stitches, the 100th of Freda's Fancies. It is the start of the center motif being worked on 18 x 18 bars.
