More Trellis
Tonight I completed the first step on all of the trellis. I filled in the area on the top right using one strand of the DMC Fil thread and also making the design one thread smaller . Tomorrow I start on the second step of the trellis.
Hi Pat, I have a project coming up that calls for both gold and silver DMC Fil. What I have comes on what appears to be a regular spool of thread and is very fine. It seems to show up very well on your canvas, do you use it single ply? Is it easy to use and do you have any tips? The poppies are beautiful and would work very well in my living room.
DMC Fil does come on a spool and it is used single ply off the spool unless otherwise instructed. I use a laying tool as it tends to twist as well. I also lock the thread in the needle as it is very slippery.

What beautiful work you do. It's very inspiring.
