
I started leaf number two, which is directly below the top right one, by taking out all the previous stitching. I spent some time reading over the pattern, looking at the pictures and decided that what was there was not right. This pattern is created by first pulling the threads using size 8 pearl cotton with medium pressure. That is removed leaving the design in the canvas. If you enlarge the above picture you will see some of the next section that is pulled. The notes on the pattern say to pull two sections at a time. Then using the
Kreinik you fill it back in thereby saving the stress on the
Kreinik and creating the pattern.
