A different finish
Since I did not get by Michael's I pulled out this little piece. Our friend that we are helping to clean out her stash had this finished in one of the boxes we took out. The canvas is by Julie Thompson and was dated 1991. Since our friend is no longer stitching anything, we have each taken some of the pieces to finish and give back to her. This is about 1.25 inches wide and we found a round pendant frame for her. I fitted it with a piece of mat board and then glued Ultrasuede to the back. I then took my white pen and wrote stitched by " " on the back for her.

That is a really sweet tiny little canvas - I see mountains and a meadow with flowers. Am I seeing it correctly? Beautiful colors. I wish somebody would finish my UFO's for me - but mine are bigger than this one.
This is a very nice deed Pat. You have a good heart!
Yes, Judy it is a little mountain scene and is so beautifully stitched! We hope by finishing some of these for her that she will still get some joy from there. Alzheimer's is a terrible disease.
Pat, you are an angel. Your friend (and her family) will have joy from her stitching for a long time I hope.
What a nice thing that you did! I am proud to call you my friend!
Anne
Aw, shucks, you guys. We are only doing what stitching friends do.
