Another blade

I finished the background on the second blade from the right, so that completes that blade.  I used the pearl cotton and did the same Waffle stitch in the area as the other two center ones.  I then resumed using six strands of cotton floss to create the Pavilion stitches on the last blade on the right.

This is just incredibly gorgeous - but I already told you that a few times. You do such beautiful work on this sort of thing.

I must be dense but I just now realized you are doing the waffle stitch inside the fan blade before doing the blade's stitching. Is there a reason for that besides you just like doing it that way?

Thanks! The background behind the flowers is worked last so you compensate around those instead of putting the flowers on top of the stitch. This is so close to being done that I will probably just go ahead and finish it.
