I finished the stitching on the second level of the tassel and then added the padding for the bottom. I have started stitching that in place and plan to come back with a second layer on top of the very bottom section to round it out more than the previous two. I also added the silver Kreinik 1/16 ribbon horizontally between the first and second sections.

More tassel work
I finished the stitching on the second level of the tassel and then added the padding for the bottom. I have started stitching that in place and plan to come back with a second layer on top of the very bottom section to round it out more than the previous two. Gosh, this is going faster now that the background is done!
I love the blue of the tassel and I think the Kreinik ribbon a lovely touch. Can't wait to see what happens here next!

Very nice color you've chosen for the tassel - it looks dimensional. Any brighter, and it would have made the whole picture bottom heavy and distracting. I love the soft padding!
