I did another two inches on the left side of the center front on the Kimono design tonight. I am finding that this pattern works incredibly slow for me. I am wondering if anyone else is working on this section and is finding this a slow go as well.......At this rate I will be all month getting this one done. I did another two inches on the left side of the center front on the Kimono design tonight. I am finding that this pattern works incredibly slow for me. It is slower than Christmas! And then there is the mistake I have to pull out and restitch!
Someone told me it took them around 16 hours to do the whole area, which sounds about right to me. It'll take me longer but I think this is likely the most tedious part of the pattern.
Mine looks fabulous, though, and I think yours does, too.
Phew! I thought it was just me! I will keep plugging away. It is pretty, I agree!
Yes the stitching is slow. It took me over 14 hours but now it is done. My contrast thread is not very dark so the pattern isn't very noticable but the effect is glitzy. I will now go on to June soon.
