Two more grids

In the bottom section, the top left grid is done with two strands of the Marlitt, following the diagram pattern. Notice how the mirror grid on the top half was also worked with Marlitt.
The center bottom grid is worked in a snowflake design using first the Perlee and then two strands of silver cord create the cross stitches. This, then also mirrors the fibers on the top half in the same grid.
Tomorrow, I am picking up the last fibers I need to start the birds, and I will get one on the frame on Saturday.

Hi Pat,

This is working up very quickly and the colors are very soft and pretty! You can really see the stitches in the photo.

Which bird is going to be first? Do they have their names yet? LOL

The mystery piece is very pretty. I like how the two mirror images are the same and yet different.

This has been fun to watch and it is quite quick to stitch, even if it is the size of a sheet of typing paper.

Cyn: The chickadee is going to be first up! The names evolve as I stitch them so, I am sure they will!
Jane: You are right--typing paper--are we dating ourselves??

Uh Oh. what are we supposed to say? Ink Jet paper? LOL I still do all of my writing on legal pads. Can't think on a computer. At least with a color copier and a printer, I no longer have to use carbon paper. Remember that?

Sure do! Just threw out what little I still had at the office, but, think I have some here at home yet!
