First, all of the Tulip Akela is done! I finished filling in all the white, and then added a pink stem stitch vein and some shading at the bottom of the large petal.
Next I did the finishing on the Kick Back and Stitch, Octagon #8, in a black box for that birthday gift! Several of you commented you thought it might be yours as you have a birthday in July, and so do I!, but it isn't for any of us! Two point to Jane as she guessed as much!Next, I started Tulip Esther. I have couched the wire and buttonholed the two outside petals!
Boy, am I proud of myself or what? LOL

Thanks for letting us know that it's #8. I don't have this one in my stash though I hope to eventually add more. Just have to finish some I already have!
Do you have "Legros"? Maybe a SAL starting in July to finish before October, 2008? Just let me know.
