Pattern 12 is done! This one was started with diagonas using a saffron gold silk. Next Waterlilies overdyed Far Horizons created the flower petals. Last the leaves are added with a strand of green silk. Note how the colors in this pull the colors from the next two columns. I started pattern 13 using Waterlilies overdyed Tobacco working more diagonals.

I never noticed the jewels of pink and blue color on the finished model. Gosh, this is a fascinating piece! You can see why Marnie Ritter plate designs were so popular. They are beautiful!
