Isn't this just cute?! Do check out the website as not only do they create great sayings canvas, but lots of other goodies your shop can get for you. I bought this canvas last month after our cruise on the way back up the coast of Florida. I had promised myself I got to stop at Needlepoint Alley

and so we did. This is a wonderful store and the ladies are very pleasant and helpful. The windows are beautifully tempting as is the layout of the store itself. I will visit them again either in person or by web.
So, I decided that this is going to be a fun 3 x 8 design on 14 count canvas. I am doing the wallpaper in Linen Fold stitch. The darker is a single strand of Patina 26. The medium shade is Patina 28 worked in two stands. I put in tent stitch under the banner in Patina 256 with a single strand and the gold banner outline is a single strand of Kreinik #12 017HL.

How cute! This will be a nice change from all the intricate work you have been doing lately. Hope you hang this on your front door knob eventually! We'll all then come over to visit your stitching. (And maybe you, too!)
