B-r-r-r-r

B-r-r-r is appropriate today.  It was only five when I left for work this morning!  Yikes....a new record low,
but tomorrow it is supposed to be in the forties and melt some of the real snow!  Anyway, I worked on another leaf on the lower left and then wandered back over to the Brick Stitch.  I am using Splendor 976 and two strands. I can get a lot more Brick stitch done in the time it takes me to do one leaf!  Odd!

Brrrrr indeed!

Although I had to convert your fahrenheit to centigrade to get a feel for what you mean!

Before Christmas we were getting to 10 deg F which was colder than I can remember London being for a long time. Right this minute we're an almost tropical 53 deg F. :)

I love this little bird :) It so evokes the behaviour of birds in our garden that I love to watch.

The contrast in texture between the brick stitch and the leaves is really great. I guess you're having to spend more time thinking where each stitch on the leaves has to go and that's why they take longer.

How I wish someone in the UK would import even half of the canvas selection you have in the States.

Here in Atlanta I'm feeling the brrrr with you! Your canvas is so appropriate and your work is beautiful.
I'm about to settle in with a pot of coffee and a Maggie cat canvas. With snow on the ground and a fire in the fireplace, how could my day get any better?

Pat, brick stitch has an easy rhythm. I am sure that's why it goes so fast. This is very pretty so far and so appropriate as it is COLD.
