Petal Two
It is time to get back to getting things in the rotation again and I started with the Oriental Poppies by Pat Van Cleve. I continued on with the second petal, after adding the center to petal one. I did dark red french knots for the very center. I moved on to the third petal and it is the one on the left that is not yet completed. I am doing all the petals in long and short stitches using a single strand to achieve the blending.

I love poppies and your is beutiful :)
Your poppies are beautiful.I look forward to see it completed. Is this a GCC?
This is a cyberpointers project, and thanks!
The stitches are perfectly slanted, Pat. Excellent job! I can see exactly where one petal ends and the next begins, which I personally find difficult to achieve. This is wonderful. After your three finishes in a row, it is sort of nice to watch a project slowly grow again.
Very nice!!!
