Black and Gold

Since I don't have the black canvas yet, I thought I would show you what I will be working on after I get the canvas. This is a picture of the piece as far as I had gotten when I realized an error in the bargello pattern in the second row at the top! Instead of ripping this all out, I chose to just restart the piece. So maybe next week, I will start over......

Oh wow, this is going to be amazing. The color contrast on the black canvas is a standout.

This is going to be a strong and dramatic piece. I hate getting count wrong, don't you? But it will be worth it to have it all correct in the end and you can rip out when you are in a destructive mood and reuse the canvas some other time.

T minus 8 days....

This is worrisome! I mailed your black canvas last Saturday - Priority! I was anxious to see you start stitching. P.S. when did Jane start counting?? She swore she never would.

LOL

Judy, I do counts for important stuff, like when Pat gets her roses and tassel piece back from the framers. And the number of days to Christmas. Eeeeekkkk.

Better get started on Christmas.
