One side is done

I got busy tonight! I did the rest of the basket weave dark outline using the two strands of Splendor 960 on the right side of the bottle. I then put the medium value in next to that using the S1133. Lastly, I filled in the lightest section using 1034. This is great progress on this for one evening's worth of stitching! The gold stands out very nicely now that the Splendor is stitched! Now, I am off to try and catch up on reading some of your blogs!

This is amazing - you've really dressed up a kind of blah canvas and made it awfully pretty.

The hot pink is gorgeous!

Judy, in person this canvas is not blah. It just doesn't photograph well as the shading is subtle. I know because it is in my stash, too. Stitched it'll be gorgeous! It looks very pretty now, Pat, even half done.

Quite pretty Pat. Love the gold sparkly!

I stitched it myself several years ago in a light green. I should dig it out of my show crates and send Pat a photo of my version. I don't know if it is really blah. I think it is more elegant.

I agree Sharon! I don't think it is blah at all! It is going to be very elegant when I finish it!!
