I finished the outside border with the upright Gobelin and the Medici that was left here at home while we traveled. I also finished the south and east fleur-de-lis. Since today was my birthday, we spent some time celebrating and therefore not too much time for stitching. Since this is so close to being done, I think I might just go ahead and finish this one! I have two more waiting in the wings to get into the rotation and they are starting to make a lot of noise!Wednesday, July 29, 2009
The Border
I finished the outside border with the upright Gobelin and the Medici that was left here at home while we traveled. I also finished the south and east fleur-de-lis. Since today was my birthday, we spent some time celebrating and therefore not too much time for stitching. Since this is so close to being done, I think I might just go ahead and finish this one! No, Jane didn't know it was Pat's birthday. The champagne is in the mail....
Sadly, Pat's email address keeps bouncing messages to her so I'm glad I didn't know about the birthday. I would have hated an e-card to bounce on such a festive occasion.
